Hello and welcome to Patternay!

My name is Kate, and I’m the founder and designer behind Patternay.

My passion for sewing began when I was a young girl, after a friend introduced me to a sewing club. I quickly fell in love with creating clothes, from everyday pieces to tailored coats. One of my proudest early achievements was making my own school prom dress — a moment that showed me how special it is to create something unique with your own hands.

Over the years, I developed my skills and gained professional experience in a tailoring studio in Vilnius, creating bespoke garments for private clients. After moving to London, I continued working in the fashion industry and collaborating with different fashion brands.

Through years of sewing, pattern making and exploring new techniques, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for well-designed garments and thoughtful construction.

Today, I bring this experience into Patternay, where I create PDF sewing patterns for women who love fashion and enjoy making their own clothes.

My aim is to offer carefully designed patterns with clear, step-by-step instructions, helping you create beautiful garments with confidence — whether you are just beginning your sewing journey or have years of experience.

For me, sewing is more than just making clothes. It is a way to express creativity, explore personal style and turn ideas into something real.
